LNL AP pocket swager ?

Does anyone have the Hornady primer pocket swagger for the LNL AP press ? How good does it work ? Is it worth the cost ? I would imagine you have to sort the cases by head stamp.

I have both .223 and 308. They work great. Just have a small air compressor or canned air to keep the area clean.

Yes But that is the job of my grand daughter 6/14. she preps all my brass and has a great eye for detail.

Swagers tend to be picky about case brands due to differing web thicknesses. My RCBS swager sure is. I switched to trimming the crimps away after trying to deal with it.

what are you using to trim the crimps ?

Rcbs trim mate military crimp remover (small). I put it in my case prep trio and it cuts the crimp out in about a second. It has a shoulder so you can't cut too much.

I use a drill and the bits from Lyman case prep multi tool to cut away the crimps. I too have a RCBS pocket swagger, it was too much a pain in the butt. I actually broke the cast base on the first one, RCBS sent me a new one no charge....still don't use it.
