Have questions regarding spam cans of various

military ammo. These have languished in a sto-

rage shed (freezing to triple digit heat) for 10 to

15 years. The only insulation has been the ship-

ping box cardboard. Should these be inspected

or just left as is until it is used? Any feedback is

most graciously appreciated. Thanks much. ≈I≈

Would make no difference how well they are insulated... left outside they are all going to have been cold soaked at whatever temperature the ambient temperature fell to. Insulation just increases the time to reaching thermal equalibrium, unless there's a warm blooded animal living in that box there is no heat source.. so it's all just slowing down the inevitable cold.

Shoot it! Or send it here and I'll shoot if for ya... ;)
