Llama 45 feeding / ejecting problem

I just bought a NEW llama 45 minimax compact (6+1). I got it home cleaned the funk off of it and loaded a mag. I then tried to cycle the shells through. It didn't want to feed, when I got it to feed, then it didn't want to eject (non-fired). I have noticed that the ramp is short and not at all smoothed off. I was using the Wolf steel cased hardballs to test it with. My question, do you think that if I took it to my gunsmith and had it throated it would solve the problem, or should I send it to the factory (it is on warranty, but I have always been pleased with my gunsmith's work)? I read a couple of good things and a couple of bad things in this forum about the pistol.

In my opinion, based on examining and working on several recent production Llamas, I would not spend a nickel on it. Return it if you can, else unload it. The alternative will be to keep fixing this and tweaking that and still ending up with a soft, poorly made gun.
