Hello
I have a llama 22 pistol, on of the little 1911 like ones
Are there any magsi can use other then the llama mags?

Not if you want the pistol to function correctly. Not only will you need to bite the price bullet but then you hope for a good used mag. Tripple K makes one and others offer them under other names but all i have seen were Tripple K production and therein lies the problem. There are aftermarket magazine producers that make quality stuff ( not for Llama's though) but my experience with Tripple K has included: fine ---work as expected, not so fine ---and had dimension problems or poor manufacturing causing early failure.
Purchasing used magazines, if truly represented, can get good reliable items at often sky high prices. I would rather buy one from a GB seller that worked rather than a less money Tripple K that would make me upset in the long run.
By the way I have two fifties vintage Llama's that work just fine with genuine Llama mags.

I once bought some increased capacity Triple K mags for a rifle.
At first they didn't seem to work too well.
But it came down to reading the instructions -
The mags came with a mag release replacement that was needed for them to work as they should.
After discovering the little thing in the shipping bag, actually reading those instructions and installing it, the gun and Triple K mags ran perfectly.
Eghads, imagine a grown man having to read the instructions.
Just thought I'd through that in the conversation.

so no one makes mini 1911 mags like in the llama?
The one I have looks liek stamped sheet metal is they anyone that could make some?

Larry, i have purchased from Gunclips but To my knowledge he sells mags produced by other manufacturers including Triple K. I belive i purchased some FI model D mags that were the plastic base plate type made by Triple K. Both baseplates cracked and separated soon after. If I got them direct from Triple K my apology in advance to Gunclips:).

Hi Mikey. I'm pretty sure the Llama mags Gunclips sell are made by Triple K. I know Triple K has a spotty reputation but they seem to have this Llama .22LR done right. Over the years I have used (and still have) the same design and they always work. I also use their .32/.380 Llama mags with the same success. Other mags? Not so lucky. I always hesitate when I recommend them but they seem to be ok with Llamas.

No, the one in your picture looks like this mag sold on Ebay.

I got 5 of these, 3 worked fine and 2 would not activate the slide lock when it was empty. All 5 did feed ok, though.

If you look at the mags in the link above, I really like the design. The spring is under the front of the bullet which keeps the tip up for proper feeding. I also like the center pin that you can pull down while reloading the rounds into the mag. It's a nice design and I've had great luck with them. I have almost 20 Llama .22LR mags and I believe 5 of them are from the link above and they are my favorite. (5 are the Ebay mags and 10 are factory Llama mags).

It does look almost like mine, mine holds 11 for some how...
Looks like I might give it a shot when I can thx

Be aware that older Llamas use a different mag than newer ones. Some of the newer mags will fit into an older Llama, but the hold open notch has to be modified a little.

Try these folks: http://www.ammoclip.com/L/llama_22lr.htm

It looks like you'll have to be put on a waiting list here, too, but I have had fairly good luck with them; They will notify you via email when something becomes available.

Thanks Larry, I thought most if not all of the mags for older pistols were made by Triple K...I am not a Triple K basher but have had a few good mags and some worthless ones from them, you kinda' pay your money and take your chances.
I checked my Llama mag supply and found a like new Triple K in the pile...shot a box of Winchester 333 through the one mag without any difficulties so as you say some are good and this one will be a keeper.
