My Father N Law gave me a .380 Llama that looks just like a mini 1911. Excellent condition, doubt it was ever fired. While field stripping it, the take down lever snapped in half,, (the outside flat piece). I can not find a replacement for the life of me. Numerichs, etc cant help me. Does anyone know a competent gun smith who can not only perform the repair / replacement of the take down lever, but also ensure functionallity of this little pistol? I know its not a quality pistol (well, according to the critics), but I kind of like it? Not to mention, I broke one of the only gifts my Father n Law ever gave me! Your help is GREATLY appreciated..

Thanks Guys,
Lou

The Llama .380 doesn't have a "take down lever." Perhaps that's how you broke it! Are you referring to the slide stop? If so, and you have the parts it can be hard soldered back together-if you can't find a replacement.

oooops, your right. I do mean the slide stop. The piece looks so cheap, I cant imagine it going together well with soldering, etc? It broke while I was popping it back into place. I'll check around and see if anyone is capable of doing that.
Thanks for clearing up the part identification. I'm a Sig guy, haven't had many 1911 type pistols..
Thanks again:o
