I have had my Robertson Armament M96 with the short barrel for a couple of weeks now. It is very accurate, certainly to the standards of the various AR-15s I've owned. I like the gas system, and the charging handle location. Reliability has been 100%.
Ease of takedown is outstanding. I really like being able to completely disassemble the rifle with no tools.
I only have one complaint, and it is minor. The captured takedown pin is difficult to remove. The manual shows removal by pressing on the pin with a cartridge rim, but I have had to use a punch and light taps with a hammer to get it out. Same with getting it back in - can't be done by hand as can all the other pins (mag well etc.) Might wear in after use.
All in all, worth what I paid for it.
