live deer feeder cam!

No deer there... But I get the feeling I'll HAVE to check back until I see something. But then, that was the point, wasn't it? ;)

Yeah, just like real hunting; boring! It's dark right now, and it looks like there's a light on there, so it's prime time; perhaps I'll watch awhile.

Oo cool - just checked it at 1206 am, thier time - there's a possum in the light. Must be a dim one - or maybe an infared illuminator?

yup, I'm addicted allready, gonna have to check it out till I see something also. Any Idea of where it is, Other than eastern time zone area?

Ya know, what they oughtta do (besides get better quality video), and I'm sure someone will eventually, is to have a motion detector, and when movement is detected, send a signal from the field to the server. Then send an audible beep to everyone who has the page open. That way, would could leave the cam on, and do other things (watch tv, whatever), and when we hear the beep, come and look.

lol, I just saw a hind leg sticking out from behind the tree where the feeder is, and thought it was a deer, even though it looked too short. Next frame a big dog's head is sniffing the ground at the base of the feeder; next frame, nothing.

I keep seeing one green eye making an appearance then fading out (dark now). Can't tell what it is, but probably that coon.

Edit: Oops, there it is. Hmm, not a coon though. It's either a really large possum or really small hog. Probably possum. Can't see it very well. Whatever it is, he's chowin' down. Ya it's a possum - caught red-handed. :) Damn, I need a life.

10:07PM & it's still there. You sure that's a 'possum FF? Mighty big for a 'possum, but I guess the night could screw up the perspective.

Well, not sure, but my guess is a big possum. But it did look really weird; like you say, with a humpback. I guess it's full; it's gone now. C'mon, big buck!

Dang! There were some huge racked bucks just now (9:40 am central time) on live cam #2, along with some does - thanks for that link! They still have their antlers on Feb 13 - when do antlers drop off?
