Little Skeeter help, please

I purchased some Little Skeeters shell reducers for my Browning. My question is, how do you get the shell out? It is not an easy task after it has been fired. Any help is appreciated. I had to use a pen on the opposite side and push it out. This becomes an issue during a round of skeet.

I have seen these same issues with other people and their Little Skeeters. If it was a slow informal round nobody cared, but I would not interupt a league or event shoot by shooting with them. They were more designed for hunting and informal clays than a squaded skeet field. The ones I saw had no ejector points on them so the entire tube had to be removed from the gun and shell poked out just as you describe.

I dont use the Little Skeeters, but my father does have a set of 20 gauge Skeeters for his Citori.

As stated above, they are kinda slow to reload, and not real good for fast paced skeet. He uses the handle section from a cleaning rod to knock out the hulls.

One thing he found is that the STS and Nitros come out easier than the Gun Club hulls that are ribbed. Also, certain hulls are a tad longer than other brands. When shot, the crimps will actually blow out over the edge of the Skeeters making them tougher to knock out.

For the price, they are functional... that's about it.

He also has a set of Chamber Mates for his 101 Win. They extract and work much better...but at a higher cost.

Really the only reason I bought them was to try and get my wife in to skeet shooting without buying another gun.
