I'm totally shocked! Dan Blather actually pointed out Algore's lie.
A letter to my newspaper (feel free to copy and send it to yours):
Of all the things Al Gore claims he created, we can be sure that the polygraph machine is not one of them. At a recent mayor's conference in New Orleans, Gore quoted misleading gun-death statistics, then stated that 18-20 year-olds can walk into any pawnshop, gun shop, or gun show and purchase a handgun. Federal law clearly prevents minors from purchasing handguns, but unfortunately it does not prevent career politicians from lying.
