Point well taken, Orion. The LCR .357 would satisfy me. I could pocket holster it or IWB carry it, and I trust revolvers completely. The Glock 27 would satisfy me, feels "RIGHT" in my hand, easy to conceal, and I trust it from the homework done on it. I have thought long and hard about the mistake I would be making by buying too big of a gun. The whole purpose here is to WANT to carry it and be comfortable doing so. So no matter what, I'll stick to this principle tomorrow and into the future. The S&W .40 compact has caught my eye last second. I am going to hold one, see how the grip feels. It may be the last second winner here afterall. I want to really like the Springfield XD subcompact, but I just think it's a hair too big. Ruger SR9c, LOVE IT, may be a hair too big. Liked the handle of the LC9, not sure about its overall reliability but like it. I'll figure it out. I have been sitting in gun stores and spending hours just talking, playing with guns, and picking everyone's brains, customers and guys behind the counter alike, to glean what I can. Bottom line is I have to have a good hold of the gun, good feel, and have to be comfortable carrying it. Bottom line. My reaons may be different than others and visa-versa. That's the beauty of it in my opinion. I have enjoyed thoroughly hearing everybody's opinions...
