Lint-free cloth or rag?

My usual cleaning routine consists of two homemade CLP impregnated rags (actually old whitey-tighties) that I use to clean my guns. The dirtier one gets used first to wipe off the caked-on stuff, then I follow it up with the cleaner rag to basically leave a clean coating of CLP on it. The problem is that these rags end up leaving lint on the gun.

Does anyone know of a good alternative to a cotton tee shirt or whitey-tighties that's larger than lets say 6" x 6" and leaves it lint-free?

Cotton flannelette. You can buy a yard or two of it in any fabric shop for next to nothing. Look in the remnant bin.

All the computer stores have lint-free material for computer screens now. They aren't a lot bigger than a cleaning patch, but would do for a final wipe if really needed? No, I just found a bag of Ansco Home and Office wipes. Size of a Kleenex. $1.30 for 10. One would be reusable a few times. The Brownells product may be cheaper? I didn't look. An old silicone gun cloth is perfectly fine to get CLP on if it is retired, anyway.

Jimmy: Are those shop cloths lint-free also or are only the cleaning pads?

Unclenick: I have some of those monitor wipes at work. I'll "borrow" a few and try them out. As for an old silicone gun cloth, mine seems to hold lint on it.

Sam's Club sells an 18 pack of Microfiber dish cloths (no lint) that I find extremely useful on everything including guns. I've seen single microfiber towels at other stores, Sam's are the cheapest deal but a bulk quantity.
