Limp wristing???

I recently shot my dad's Glock 22, I liked the gun, and enjoyed shooting it (first time I shot a full size auto) except for one thing; every time i shot, the shell casing would hit me in the head. I have no idea why this happened, and it is very annoying. I was wondering if maybe I was limp wristing? Any ideas? I was using 165 grain FMJ flat nose bullets, and i suffered no malfunctions. Can anyone help me? This is most frustrating. If this question has been asked before, sorry.

Almost 99% liklihood that limpwristing is the problem. You don't have to use a deathgrip on your Glock, but you do have to lock your wrists and elbows.

Thanks for the advice, i figured i was limp wristing since i haven't been shooting very much. What threw me off was that the cases were hitting me in the head! When I think about limp wristing, i generally assume that the gun would jam too. I guess I'll just have to get out and practice more:)
