Lignose - Einhand Info Sought

Some years ago I inherited a small chest from a Great, Great Uncle who had fought with the AEF in WWI. In among the various and sundry war trophies was a 1904 Lignose Einhand,.25 caliber.

I actually put a few round through it about 6 or 7 years ago but have never really "tested" it, per se.

I know next to nothing about the weapon other than that it was one of the first automatic pistols.

Does anyone know about the accuracy and reliability of these pistols? The size and unique design would make this a great CCW/belly gun.

Should I put it in a museum or a shoulder holster? Any additional historical information would be greatly appreciated as well.

Much obliged,

Mac
