has anyone shot the lightfield commander 3 1/2'' 12 gauge slugs and if so how did they perform for you and how lethal are they
I've only shot the 2¾" and 3" versions...Very accurate and hard hitting on the target...
Mike U -- that's a very unfair comparison as the Brenneke only go to 3"...
Recoil is always heavier in slug or buckshot loads (unless specific for HD/LEO use) as the intended target is usually larger and heavier then a 6 oz woodcock...It's because of the extra powder...
I½ oz over 4 drams will recoil the same regardless if it is buck or bird shot or a slug...regardless of manufacturer and material of the shot...basic laws of physics apply...How they perform after leaving the barrel is another matter all together...
lol im hunting whitetail im just an overkill fanatic i dont like anything to walk away i usually hunt with a .44 mag rifle
