Lighter trigger #'s better follow thru ?

I don't know, maybe it is just me, whatever the cause may be for my feeling this way, but I have always thought that the lighter the trigger pull, the easyier it is to maintain a more true trigger squezze follow thru, because that is the key to tight groups, right?

Chris, I guess you could put it that way. The actual reason for a lighter pull is that no matter what you do, when you pull the trigger you are applying pressure either left or right to the pistol. The harder you have to pull the more pressure is brought to bear pulling your sights off the target. Ergo the lighter the pull the easier to keep the sights where they're supposed to be. George
