How long can one expect a new USGI M-14/M1A mag to last under normal conditions? Just curious as to what others have found. These mags seem very well made to me. Thanks!
I have no idea, but if it is USGI it will out last you unless you smash it with your foot or leave it under your car tire and run over it. The Chi-Com mags are a hardy lot also.
Don`t buy any of those $14 mags you see advertized, they are a stamped POS.
Wouldn't be surprised if it lasted your lifetime. I've got some mags that are really beat but keep on ticking. If the mag body is in good shape you can always pick up springs & followers for cheap as well.
