Which I think means category of carbines for Glock.

There was a single post on this forum about a bad experience with IGB barrels but the link is dead now.

I wish I could get some of these barrels, it would be cool to put an 8" barrel in a G17L

I think this thing as shown is illegal, but there is a video on YouTube of a setup with a 16" barrel.

Not illegal if you do the paperwork. Even a long barrel is perfectly legal until you put a shoulder stock on a pistol.

8" barrel would be OK, so would a 10" or 12" it is the vertical hand grip and the butt stock that is the no no. Requires class III paper work for a SBR. Besides that would appear to be a G-18 which will cost you $5,000 if you can find one for sale.

I'd just like to put an 8" barrel on a G17, I think that would be cool.

I'm not looking to carbinize it or anything, with stock and foregrip or anything, just would like a longer barrel.

Umfang does mean something entirely different. In this context it would mean what is included in an order / delivery. It makes little sense, since only one article, the barrel, is listed.

In Germany ( Austria probably, also ) the stocks for pistols are not regulated by laws and I have seen some shooters struggling with theirs. I had tried them while being over there and the eye relief did not work for me.

What I find really interesting is, that the CIP regulated proofing is charged extra but sales tax ( Mwst) is included! That are poor ethics and I would stay clear of them.

I guess having tax included could be a red flag for ethics (I don't know - maybe this is a VAR or something) but these are the only guys i know of that make extra-long barrels for Glocks and I really want one.

Tax, VAT, is only to be collected for sales within Europe. Europe also has the mandatory proofing laws. So, if you pay tax, you are a European customer. Tax is not necessary for export shipments, if the seller directly exports the goods.
