Leupold Zero Stop?

Does the leupold mark 4 have a zero stop? I saw a video from 2010 where the guy did it easily with an allen key, but did they take that feature away? If so is there a way to still do it?

Also, may be a dumb question, but if you get a scope with MOA turret because that is all that is offered on that model, is there a way to swap out the turret knobs to mil?

There is no zero stop from the factory.

Leupold may or may not be able to make the change for you, depending upon the model and age of the scope. I know of no products available for you to do it yourself. That doesn't mean that there isn't an aftermarket option, though. It just means that I don't know of anything.

Changing the turret knobs will do nothing for you, the scope would have to be rebuilt to a mil adjustment. Many scopes that are mil have 1/10 adjustments or .36” at 100 yards a MOA based scope that has ¼ MOA will move approximately .26” at 100 yards.

As far as locking or zero stop on the Mark 4 it is available in the Mark 4 ER/T line, and Mark 6 & 8 also.

Ok so the er/t definitely has the zero stop? That is the one I was looking into, I just wanted to be sure they didn't change it or something!

How do you all think the mark 4 ER/t 6.5-20 m5 front focal plane will compare to a night force nxs front focal, considering that I will be getting military discount with Leupold?

I can not figure out the love affair with Night Force. I have four of them and they are good scopes, but not worth the money. I did not pay anywhere close to market price for mine. No way I would have paid market price. Night Force is a good scope, but they have gotten about as expensive as Schmidt and Bender. To my eyes, Night Force is no S & B.

So reynolds you would go with the leupold for half the price? If you don't mind me asking, maybe in a private message how did you get the nightforce you bought for cheaper? How much cheaper?

I also have 4 of them and yes S&B are better than NF. For the game I play, 1000yrds + dial up in low light, the NF gets the job done very well. If you don't need dial up turrets go with Swarovski, IMO.
