Leupold dual dove tail scope mounting.

When I asked Leupold that question, the answer was yes, but you'd have to have a terrible accident or be awfully careless to demonstrate that in normal use.

I called Leupold when my Vari-X III in Dual Dovetail mounts did not have enough windage to zero my 1953 Model 70. Apparently it is not very unusual to find the mount holes out of alignment with the bore of rifles that were more hand fitted than the current crop. If you are scoping an older rifle, you may encounter the same problem.

I have a 7.82 lazzeroni warbird with a kahles 3-12 scope and cant get it to group using 95 gr. reloader 25 with 165 gr. hornady sst bullets. After firing I looked throught the scope and it is real fuzzy, after 30 seconds it will clear up. Seems it is being shaken real bad. Would appreciate any and all advice.

thanks,
