Leupold CQ/T

I got to handle one of these scopes today...wow! It is truly a sweet piece of equipment. The reticle is black and you can illumate it with the turn of a dial. It glows a amber/orange color. It is a variable MOA (depending on what magnification you have it on) dot with a ring around it that allows for very fast target aquisition. It is super-fast when its on 1x and it would be good for shots at longer ranges at 3x. I want one...I just have to muster up the cash for one...from what the dealer said its gonna be pricey. Does anyone else have any interest in this scope? Here's more info: http://www.leupold.com/pi_cqt.html
BTW- This scope isn't on the open market just yet. I just happened into the dealer when a Leupold rep was there.

Is there a way to hang both an Aimpoint and the AMT 5x33 Professional on an AR at the same time? It looks like you could mount the Aimpoint off to the side a bit, and the 5x33 right on top, with the right gear. Then use the Aimpoint for up close, and the 5x33 for distance work. Is this ever done? Gary

You guys are in luck, its expensive...but less than everyone thought, here is SWFA's price on the new CQ/T.

Leupold CQ/T 1-3x14 MK4.......$782.95
Leupold CQ/T flattop mount.....$29.95

Tough choice between the CQ/T and the ACOG. For that price you can get a TA-01NSN that comes with the TA51 mount and a backup ghost ring. The CQ/T is pretty nice, but i think i'd have to take the ACOG. Especially since it doesn't need batteries and the CQ/T does.
