Hello Ladies and Gentlemen
Please forgive me if there are already photos on shotgun setups on this forum. I tried searching before posting but I came up empty. I wanted to open a thread about shotgun setups so others can have ideals. I know when I decided to ventured into the AR platform the photos from this site aided me greatly therefore I am trying to return the favor. I am very new to shotgun myself so I am always learning from those with experience.

Mine is a little simpler - this one is for fun and upland birds:

Don't need plastic, camo, slings or scopes - the sleek lines speak for themselves...................;)

Mine's even simpler, although it's only good for clay birds because it's illegal to hunt migratory waterfowl with an 8 gauge.

I would think your shoulder and ortho surgeon would ban that 8 gauge!

As the old movie line goes: "THAT'S gonna leave a mark!".........:D:D:eek:

Well the good thing about muzzle loaders is that you can pour as much or as little powder and shot down the bore as you want to. That gun actually shoots 12 gauge equivilent loads quite well.
Of course, if you want the total 8 gauge experience, you can always put two ounces of shot and a corresponding amount of powder in it. My brother shot it that way once and his cheek was bleeding from his thumb on the trigger hand being driven back into his cheek from the recoil.

Home defense gun. I acquired it from a colleague/friend:

Right now, I've got Rio 00 buck and Winchester PDX1.

Here's mine. All tricked out and ready to go.

Parker Trogan 12 ga.

Hunter Special, 20 ga.

Now if you want to go all "tactical", here's my buckshot gun.

Sears/Mossberg 12 ga.

It's got a sling that's not on for the picture.

Took this picture yesterday, a few of my American-made tools.

The Remington is an 870 Police Magnum with a Streamlight TLR-1 mounted up front.

Well let's see, I have my bird gun.

My duck gun

Rabbit gun

Home defense

Clay bird

Ok, so I've been shooting some clays with my new Citori. But if it ain't broke...

I don't have any pics, but for a bird gun and occasional clays I have an old Ithaca 37 featherweight

my "fighting shotgun" is a plain stock mossberg 590, no side saddle or anything (honestly if I ever had to fight with a long gun I'd prefer a carbine anyway)
