Lets see your reloading bench!

Hey guys, my reloading has grown big enough that I think its time my presses get their own space and I get the full use of my welding table back.
Im trying to conceptualize a new bench built of wood for my garage but I tend to do better with some inspiration. So lets see em!

There have been quite a few threads like this...

Instead of expecting everyone to resend their photos...

Why not do a SEARCH for yourself?

Re: chris
I've tried photobucket but have not had any success with it and cannot read photobucket images. Believe it has something to do with the operating system on the Samsung tablet. Others have posted photos just by their .jpg file name but have not been able to just do that. Seems that a basic copy and paste should do the job but unable to paste after copying an image ???.

I have been using the same bench I started with when I was 17. It's a simple Craftsman sheet metal bottom end with storage and drawers and one-inch particle board on top. Round count from this bench exceeds 100k easily and I'm not sure how far past that.

One thing remains the same from day to right now:

whenever I have open, clean, empty space on that bench top, it gets piled up with "stuff." I operate a small empty working area that is always available, but extra space constantly falls victim to a scattered, piled mess of "stuff."

It's a sickness I have, but at least I can recognize it if not embrace it.

I just did this one using a pre existing work bench that was already in my basement.

This past weekend installed peg board and the press was installed. Last night UPS delivered most of the remaining components.

Plans are in spring to build another more stout work bench out of 4x4s. Still more to acquire little by little.

Here you go. 7-ply marine with 2X4 corner bracing glued & screwed. Minwax polyshades stain as its a working bench not fine furnishings.
The length is deceptive because of the angle its actually 8' long.
Its also tall as I reload standing & deep so I have plenty of storage in the back.
If I did it again I'd put a second 1/2 depth shelf between the bottom & the bench-top.

LOL, Chris I love your bench!!!

The garage may not be the best place to setup a bench. Hot during summer and cold during the winter.

A nice dry area in the basement or a closet might be a better choice that way it is out of sight yet available when needed.

Stay safe.

This is my 5th digital camera since May 2000, a Nikon L340.
I have a lot of boxes of reloading gear I need to squeeze back into that room, now that hunting is over....but I am distracted designing a universal Mauser steel bedding.
