Let's see car mounted holsters.

Does anybody have a holster mounted in their vehicle for easy access while they are driving? I'd like to see pictures if possible.

I use The Kingston from DeSantis (not sure if they make it anymore though). Here's a older little review on it: http://www.adjunct.diodon349.com/Attack_on_USA/kingston_car_seat_holster.htm

Pics, inside my truck:

Hoyt,

Is that a 'hollow points in lucite' kind of deal you have for a shifter?

If so that's pretty awesome.

I once caught a ride home from a guy at work who had a prosthetic hip as his shifter. That was interesting one but I really like yours...... though I'm not sure I'd have it if I left any gun I care about in the truck.

Seems like it might attract a smash and grab, but either way it's a pretty awesome shifter.

Yeah the shifter is made up of different bullets...got it from www.flameball.com

I'm not too worried about anyone breaking into my truck. I'm in a VERY small lake town where everyone knows everyone and we all look out for each other. The most crime we really get here is someone running the stop sign. :)

I drive an older Ford van so I just screwed a nylon holster to the side of the doghouse. Normally a CZ52 rides in it. I keep my carry pistol on my belt.

Well this is not exactly a holster but here is how I roll!!! I also keep a weapon light and spare magazine in there.

Sorry, I don't have any pictures of it, but....
When I was still driving around in a sports car and carrying a Glock, I took a Glock belt-slide holster and used some of the black, plastic license plate screws and some 1/4 inch thick rubber washers and just screwed the holster to the transmission tunnel.

It was black and blended well, and when I sold the car the black screws in the transmission tunnel were almost unnoticeable.

What I'm currently experimenting with now, is a Serpa holster and the new Serpa quick disconnect system that lets you move the holster from a belt, to a MOLLE vest, or wherever else you have the QC part attached.

Mine...

Used this mount from Cabellas:

http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0005954520281a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCH_all&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&Ntk=Products&QueryText=atv+gun&sort=all&_D%3AhasJS=+&N=0&Nty=1&hasJS=true&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fsearch%2Fsearch-box.jsp.form23&_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1

and an Uncle Mike's holster with the retention strap cut off. Drilled two holes in the metal frame of the seat and used two regular bolts instead of the "U" bolt that would normally go around the handlebar.
