his own forum. It seems to me that there is just as much talk about guns here on TFL as there is about FUD and that little black cloud that follows him around.

falconer, I disagree, by running rampant through these forums, Fud's questions, observations, recountings and assorted other emanations have imparted knowledge to a broader spectrum of TFL members, both directly and through the responses to the threads.
I've been meaning to ask what "FUD" means. Is that FUD, as in ELMER? No wait, that's two D's, isn't it?
OK, so is "FUD" an acronym, like "FUBAR", or what?

FUD is no less unfortunate than anyone else. Instead, he's unusually observant & analytical. Therefore he sees the risks & threats that surround everyone, even though most people are unaware of them ...
I would support segregating FUD into his own cell, er... I mean board.
I fear having him run loose throughout all of the boards on this website.
If he were to visit upon this board only 10% of the troubles he has, the server would be reduced to a smoking crater, and Rich would be institutionalized.
By containing him to his own cell er... board, we mitigate and significantly reduce the possibility that any and every one of us could:
1. Be attacked by a gator that comes bounding through our monitors.
2. Get into a fight with the virtual HOA officers (moderators) who run the boards (WHAT DO YOU MEAN I HAVE TO PAY $150 FOR A KEY CARD TO GET IN AND OUT OF THE FIRING LINE?)
3. Find that our handguns have mysteriously rusted while FUD is showering...

Beware the man with the S&W .357 Mag.
Chances are he knows how to use it.
And the first gator that comes through my monitor is gonna get it with a 45 ACP, er, 41 Magnum, er, 17 shots of 9mm, er, 12 gauge, well, you get the idea.
