What are the implications, if any, of myself mailing myself some 30 rd mags from out of state to my home in California for my own personal use? Does Sb23 affect this?
thanks

Assuming you have a dreaded(gulp)military style rifle...sending Hi-cap mags through MAY be some kind of Federal violation. But won't Miliary style rifles become illegal soon?I would just take a drive to your nearest source for these...and stock up.You really don't want to mess with the Postal Authorities.(going postal?) :) :) :)

As far as I know it is illegal to bring, send, or loan any regular-capacity magazines that have more than 10 rounds in the Socialist People's Republic of Kalifornia.

Speaking frankly, they can shove their law up their ******.

Supposedly, you have to get a permit if you plan on taking hicaps out of the state and bring them back in. Who's to say that you actually took them out in the first place? And as far as that permit goes, if you get one, not only are you registering those mags, but you're admitting to having the gun that goes with them. Forget it.

I was afraid of that. Oh well, just have to play ball for now... or not. It's gonna warm up in Montana soon...somethings has to give. Thanks to all
