legal in cleveland

cleveland ohio, unfortunately have a ban on assault style weapons(aks, ars and so forth), i live in cleveland , can i legally own a banned weapon and store it in a neighboring community which doesnt have the ban? so i guess the question is the ban on me as a resident or the ban on the weapon itself being in the community ? any one else go thru this ?

Read it for yourself in case I missed something, but it looks like you can own one, but can't have it within the city limits unless you're "just passin' thru."

obviously the shift key and i arent getting along, and yet you understood my post....But since you answered I will use my shift key in a reply to you.
Thanks alot for the reply. I read the link you supplied, but didn't really see anything that would help. I have been "googling" this question and not getting any real direction. Are there any other links that support your opinion? I do appreciate your input.
