Lefties Unite!

I am a left-handed shooter. It is difficult enough to find left-handed holsters and the like, but can anyone tell me where I can find a set of left-handed grips for my revolver? Ones that have the thumb rest on the right side and the finger support on the left side? The best we lefties can hope for I guess is a grip that is completely ambidextrous in design. I have never seen grips cut for lefties.

Unfair!! ;)

Getting off my soapbox now ...... Cal in TX

DA revolver? Would left-handed grips interfere with the cylinder release?
Herrett's has some pretty elaborate shelves, rests, and grooves on some of their grips, so I might look there.
I have Eagle Heritage "cock bottle" grips on my S&W, and they fit my (left) hand pretty darn well.

You know..... They could have put a little more effort into naming those grips....:)

I am a lefty as well and don't have any issues with right handed or ambidextrous grips. If it bugs you, I'm sure you could have a custom set made from any number of custom grip makers.

I have a set of Hogue Monogrips on my revolver and have been very happy with them. Very ambidextrous, which I like because although I am usually a left handed shooter, I will occasionally shoot right handed.

I am sure someone would be willing to custom make something for the right price. We won't be able to tell you if a production grip works on your revolver without knowing what revolver you want to put them on.

Back in the days (late '70s and early '80s), I bought Pachmayr grips which fit my hands and had enough clearance for the cylinder.

Holster makers catered to us but you have to wait for them to make it.
