Left some lead in Georgia this weekend

I had a chance to take my son and his friend to American Classic Marksman in Norcross, NE of Atlanta, and we spent a couple of hours at their 25 yd. indoor pistol range. Nice range, friendly people, they let us use our own ammo and they even gave us a military discount (he's in the Army). They have a nice selection of new guns and a big selection of range guns, and their target ammo prices are lower than I've seen at other ranges ($14.69 for a box of .38s, for instance).

That's the range I go to when I visit my dad. I like the range alot.

wasn't aware some ranges don't let you use your own ammo. I wouldn't go to one that wont allow me to use my own ammo. :barf: Nice to hear you had fun though.

Sounds like you have more choices than we do. The closest indoor is 10 miles away and they make you use their ammo. The next closest is 35 miles but I can use my ammo, which makes it worth the drive.

If our outdoor range would just get some 7 yd. targets I would probably never go indoor again.

its quite a drive from Kennesaw for me, but I love going there. I have also been down to the Bibb County Sheriff's office range which is in Macon. Another great, and free, outdoor range.

For local ranges I go to Wild West Traders or Nick's.
