Just saw the post about someone looking for a left hand shotgun for a female and it got me thinking. Some of you may remember I had a post a while back about o/u guns and was wondering if the lever for the break action on a Browning Citori can be reversed to be used with the left hand?I still haven't bought a gun and have recieved mixed answers to the question.

I am left handed and been shooting break action shotguns for over 50 years and have no problem. If fact it is easier I believe. You push rather than pull with your thumb.

O-U for south paws

I don't see a problem. The previous post was right on. Push the opening lever instead of pulling. Also, one thing to definitely check is the cast off/cast on for the stock. There are left handed stocks, because the cast is different. If you shoot a right handed gun and are left handed, you may have a punch in the cheek area because of the cast configuration.
