Lee safety primer buggy help?

So after reloading roughly 2000 rounds. My Lee safety primer is starting to fail?

The area of concern is the black lil part that moves and places the primer into the ram. It won't move forward or backward or it takes multiple pushes for it to move and drop a primer into the ram/primer thing.

Has anyone else have had this issue? I got a rcbs hand primer but I'd much rather keep the primer system on my turret.. Why add a step when I have an all in one system. Could I take that part apart oil it up?

I just recently purchased a Classic turret press myself to take a break from my ol single stage of 15 yrs and have run approximately 1500 rounds through it. When I first got it i took the saftey primmer apart and use some very fine sand paper and smoothed everything up and I've had zero issues. That being said, after seeing how it was put together I went onto Lee's site to order a few extra parts to have on hand and when I placed the order all i had to pay was the shipping, so now I have a spare.
I would try smoothing it up, but I wouldn't put no oil in it.

After I posted I thought about the oil... Duh me primers and oil should not mix. Could take the chance that it could affect the firing of the primer. You sanded with ultra fine I assume? I loaded 150 rounds last night with maybe 1 or 2 hiccups. Other than that it was smooth.
