Lee FCD/Redding T-7

I thought I would try the LEE Factory Crimp Die in my Redding T-7 press but when I screw it down to the shellholder, there isn't enough threads left to use the locking nut. Am I missing something?

No, Redding presses have a rather heavy beam and are thick. If your die hang got enough thread length you can't use nuts. I have experienced this.

If you want to try, do it from the bottom. That should work and be safe.

No, I have the same problem with Lee Dies and my Redding T-7 and with Lee Dies and my Dillion 550B. Lee made their dies to work with Lee presses.
