I recently purchased an enfield that is in fair shape, The barrel is in good shape, and the rifeling is new.
The markings are as follows: Above stock on a band thereis stamped; M47 with a tiny 4 between the M and the 47.
Below this in a much more faded form is the marking,AB 2367
and on the is stamped N* 4mk . On the bolt is M/ and a c, rotated ninty degrees. The bayonet is marked M-2.
I paid 125 for this weapon, is this a fair price?
