Lee Enfield No. 7 Jungle Carbines in .308 (last question today I promise)

These rifles are now in Shotgun News for $139.00 I think. Questions:

1. Does anyone have a link to a picture of one of these?

2. At this price, are these rifles that were likely originally in .303 Brit, with the weaker action, and therefore undesirable, or could they be some of the ones originally chambered in .308? (Ishapore?)

3. Anything else you can tell me about this rifle. Seems like a good price.

These are Ishapores, originally chambered in 7.62 NATO/.308 Winchester. They have been modified by Navy Arms. There are pictures at www.navyarms.com.

This is the best price I have heard of for these.

There is no cheaper than the Ishapore to have a serious rifle chambered for a standard NATO caliber.
