Lee Collet Dies 223/222 Rem MAG

I LOVE MY LEE COLLET DIES, however my 222 Rem Mag is somewhat obsolete, enough so that Lee no longer makes Collet dies for it. The 223 Remington is a shortened 222 Mag, so could 223 Rem Lee Collet dies be used if the shell holder was shimmed to make it taller?
 
Lee will make custom dies for cartridges not listed in their catalog. If you can't rig up a convenient extension to contact the sleeve, you may give Lee a call and have a die made for the 222 Magnum.
