Lee Auto Drum Powder Measurer

I bought this kit shortly after it was mentioned on the forum. It was sometime back. This morning I had the first opportunity to put it to use. I added the .40 S&W round to the reloading fold and set the kit up for this rounds reloading. The load recipe is 180 gr. Precision Delta FMJ and 4.5 grains of Red Dot.

I am pleased with it and it works perfect. I can see where it is going to be very handy with rifle rounds.

I like them! I'm new to reloading and I'm not sure if I could trust another measure as much as I do this one.

I will be even happier when I receive another upriser to help it swing past the priming tool on my turret press. Then I will start really popping out some .40 S&W rounds.

I'm not using the riser on any of mine, I use the LEE powder measure dies. If you angle the measure just right it will fit between the other dies on a LEE Classic Turret. I use the riser on the Auto Disk only.

You have to remove the safety feature to make it fit that way but the measure works better/more accurate without the safety measure anyway. With the key removed I don't have any interference with the Safety Primers

SARuger, First off, you have a very nice, neat and well organized bench. I see a single stage press. You may have others that are not in the picture.

I am using a turret press; therefore I need the uprisers and often two uprisers so I can clear the primer on my turret press.

I do have a single stage LEE not in that picture. I added it a few weeks ago for de-capping and pulling bullets etc
