ProMag 10 round magazines for the Sig P220 suck so bad. I have used promags for other guns and hadn't any problems. well the followers on the two promag 10 round p220 mags I have sticks on the body and wont feed the next rounds properly....
American Eagle .22lr are so under powered (wouldn't reliably cycle my P22)that even Remington Thunderbolts looked good in comparison.
I got a few bricks of thunderbolts during the drought because it was all that i found in large quantity. well that stuff works in all of my semiautos just fine. I was always satisfied with the American eagle brand in centerfire, so I figured why not buy some in .22lr. well it turns out that the stuff I got was very weak, low powered.... best to keep it for revolver use.
I haven't gone cheap on any gun stuff in decades except for using fobus holsters but I know their limitations and use them on the range only...
word to the wise for the new guys, do not buy cheap magazines and do not buy bargain .22lr for a semiauto.
that is all.
