forgive me, but i just recently got into radio-frequency scanning big-time and learned volumes about my local PD and FD.
i suggest to anyone who reads this board get ahold of either a Uniden BC245XLT or Radio Shack PRO-92 and search out frequency lists for their local Public Safety agencies.
you might also stumble on the "digital trend" that most PS agencies are moving to.
nevertheless, if you have the good fortune to still be able to monitor your local PD/FD etc, give it a shot.
most PS frequencies can be found over the 'net, on sites like:
1) http://www.strongsignals.net
2) http://www.trunktracker.com
3) http://www.lcblanton.com
and others.
it a whole 'nuther world out there...
(by the way, i had to blow the lint balls out of my Sig .45 today...life is gentle where i live today)
