Leapers - Scopes

Some things in this world are over-valued, but with the possible exception of my ex-wife I am a firm believer that in scopes, good knives, and women you relly get what you pay for. As such, I'll pass on a $10 scope that may just quit when I really need it.

Guess we'll have to agree to disagree about quality being a function of cost. I've had nothing but great results from the Tasco scopes that I've owned and used, and none of them cost me over $150.

I was sort of wondering if Leapers may be in the same category, because I'd never heard of them before about 10 minutes prior tp posting this question.

No personal experience, but I've read more than one unfavorable report on AR15.com about Leapers. Not too durable, it seems.

the leapers copy of the colt carry handle scope does not
have click detents in the reticle knobs

it makes it hard to run the box & does not hold zero on remounting

unlike the real japanize colt scope
