Lead Bullets in Scandium Frame S&Ws

I've used 150gr Winschester white box .38 Special ammo in my 340PD without a problem, but I was told it could be problematic. The manual says you must test all ammo in light framed revolvers with titanium cylinders to see if the bullets possibly begin to uncase, and use 120gr and up ammo. It says nothing about specific problems with lead ammo.Can anyone tell me what the deal is?
 
Well... here's what they're talking about. In a very light revolver, the recoil is a hard slam, and can start to pull the bullet out of the case (actually it pulls the case off the bullet, but same thing here) like a kinetic bullet puller. The bullets can pull out of the unfired rounds enough to tie up the piece.

The variables are many: the weight of the bullet, the recoil the cartridges generate, how firmly the gun is held, the amount of crimp and so on. The only way to be SURE of what's gonna happen is to test it.

StrikeEagle: Right. That's what I tought. You have to test any round in light framed revolvers, and FMJ or lead rely on the combination of factors, not just inherently in lead bullets. Thanks.
