LCRx outshot my glocks today in qualifications!

Had to qualify today.

Although I got all my shots centered in the five ring (except for one flyer slightly out into the 4 ring with the glock 19), the LCRx center punched a ragged hole in the center of all the shots with three inch group from ten yards.

Shot 50 rounds when I first got it a few weeks ago and shot the qualification "cold" with it and 158 grain blazer ammo I bought but never sighted it.

That gun shot great and felt great and was totally confident with it.
Easy to stage the trigger and then have the trigger break with no movement in the sights. Stock sights were nice and clear.
Could easily keep them in the five zone out to fifteen yards with this gun.
The 158 grain blazer range ammo felt softer than the 9mm and 10mm glocks as well.

Guns is a keeper!

HVR,congrats on your new Ruger.Sure sounds like a"keeper"and off to a great start too! Please let us know how things progress, could be very interesting. :D

HighVallyRanch,
Welcome to the club. Had a small problem with my wife's LCR. Changed out the grips and she's giving me a run for my money now. Ruger's are very good solid
performers with super CS.

HVR... say aren't you a revolver guy ??? probably wasn't a fair contest shooting those Glocks ;)

my LCR-X is not my best shooting snubbie... buy being a revolver guy myself, I shoot it at least as good as my compact autos :)

for me, my S&W 351 PD is that "one hole" snubbie

Magnum Wheel Man,
yes it's true that I love wheel guns and have been concentrating on them the last few years, but I shot bullseye competition with semi auto's since the 1980's and my first glock was purchased in 1986.
I've won more medals with semi's than I have with revolvers.

So usually I am even steven in accuracy shooting everything from single action to double action revolvers to striker fire glocks.

It's just that the accuracy of this little light weight tiny LCRx was very surprising!

That is very interesting! My favorite carry guns are my SP101 (with spur) and my LCR (internal hammer model). Now I want the LCRx. I'm going to have to start making a schedule so none of them feel left out.

I've owned and shot many revolvers, mostly smiths and rugers.

The DA trigger on this LCRX is the easiest to stage of all of them. It comes back to a click and then the break. Very easy to shoot!
