lc9

I don't know if they will or wont but I have the hammer fired version and for concealed carry I prefer the longer trigger pull of the hammered version. In the winter I carry a SR9-C in a OWB holster but in the summer when I carry the LC9 in a IWB holster I prefer the long trigger pull when the pistol is pointing at a very important part of my body. I also have no problem shooting the hammered pistol at the ranges I consider normal self defense distances.

I hope they don't discontinue the DAO version of the LC9.
Most people seem to have forgotten how to cycle a double action trigger and tend to complain bout it.
My particular LC9 happens to have one of the sweetest triggers I've felt on a double action pistol and a plastic one at that.

I would like to see them keep the hammered version but eliminate the internal lock and replace the LCI with a viewing port as on the LC9s. I have mixed feelings on whether they should modify the pre-set on the trigger as they did on the LCP.

I have the LC9 with hammer. I don't care if they discontinue it. I won't be trading mine in for the LC9s - my LC9 works perfectly fine. I expect it to be pretty well beat ta hell by the time I'm done with it, and even then I'm sure it will still function perfectly. The trigger is ok - not terrible, not great for a DAO. The safety doesn't bother me. The lci is ugly, but like I said, this gun is going to be ugly anyway by the time I'm done with it.

When it comes down to it, my Ruger LC9 and my Glock 17 are the only two guns I own that I truly consider tools.

LC9s

I wouldn't mind owning the striker version also. If I don't do that I can easily live with my hammer type LC9.

I just sold my LC9 only because I did not like the trigger......it's a fine gun and a great carry weapon.......but there are too many other carry options with much better triggers........i'm just saying'.......:)

I'll keep my LC9, i shoot it a little better than my 642 revolver, don't know why. Rapid fire I seem to score better with the LC9, slow fire about the same. Still rather carry the 642, it's a little lighter.

I like my LC9 trigger.
Because I'm left handed, I leave the safety off, and with the long trigger pull it's like my LCP.
