LAX ammunition

Has anyone ordered from them? I've never heard of this place but a buddy sent me a link today for .44 specials I've been looking for.

I can find any locally but they have it (factory PMC Bronze) in stock for Much less than the LGS sells it for when they have it.

Any one use them? Comments, concerns or problems?

I have ordered their reloads and have been very happy with them.

I have ordered 500 each of 9mm, 40 S&W, and 45 ACP and shot most of the 1,500 already. I have not had a single round that did not fire and do what it was supposed to do. Also, the ammo can that comes with larger quantities is very nice and seals well.

I reload most of my ammo, but when I need more brass I prefer to buy factory reloads as I get brass and get to shoot a bunch in the process rather than just buying brass. When I need more brass, I will be going back to LAX Ammo.

The other factory reloads I have had success with is Freedom Munitions as I ordered a couple of things from them in the past year or so. All of their round worked well, but I did notice that the 45 ACP from them was very dirty and would spit a bit of unburned powder out of my gun. All worked as they should, but I was not a fan of the unburned powder landing on my hand. I had no issues whatsoever with their 9mm or 380 ACP I also ordered.

Recently ordered 1k of .40 S&W reloads , good overall experience. Slightly slow processing and shipping of my order. When shopping for the "cheapest" ammo price, keep in mind LAX sticks it to you pretty hard on shipping. I payed $29 in shipping so that added cost almost bumps the cost up to what I can purchase reloads locally for. I also dealt with AMMOFAST and they were much faster processing and shipping than LAX.

I came out at $29 and change with shipping per box of 50 Factory new PMC bronze LNHP.

The last box of factory new PMC I bought around here set me back $49.65 per box with tax from the LGS....and at the time that was the cheapest it could be had.

I had to pay $58 and change for a box of 50 fiocchi hunting rounds in 44 mag. They only had three boxes. First three in months, they haven't had any more come in since I bought that box weeks ago.
