Lawyer sues for rights of CCW holders in NY

First, let me wish him success. It's gonna be an uphill pull in a lotta mud.

Secondly, I have long been against any concealed carry laws. We know what "... Right...to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." means.

But, I am also very much against people being "allowed" to carry guns, because they carry "large amounts of cash and/or jewels." Reason? Because this establishes the precedent that only the cash and jewels of a rich merchant/person are worth protecting, and that the LIFE of another perosn is worthless and not worth protecting.

My life and the lives of my family are worth more than any money and jewels carried by a merchant.

Jay, in principle, you're spot on!
But what are you saying?
Don't bother to get a permit, even in a "shall-issue" state as that is playing by "their" rules?
So, carry anytime, anywhere, without a permit let the consequences be damned?
I'm confused. -Kframe

Typical of the liberal mentality. Only the "elite" will be allowed the protection afforded by firearms. The average Joe is not important or influential enough.

Disarm the people, handcuff the Police. NYC will be back to normal in a few years!

It's the Supreme Court, Stupid!

I liked the article, I thought I would never see a pro-gun article like that in the NY Post.

That is how the Government does it, they have denied honest citizens the right to carry, and then call it "geting guns off the street"
