Lawyer FB page, Members needed.

I want to share this. There is a Facebook page for 'Second Amendment Bar Association' being put up and seeking members in response to the ABA siding with Civilian Disarmament.
Story here--http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/201...n-disarmament/

I believe many members of the Bar feel the same way we do here. I thought I'd promote the page any way possible to help their and our cause so we'll be heard in an articulate manner.

Anyway, I've been posting this request on Pro 2nd. amendment pages trying to get more bar members united, hopefully to share ideas with each other, etc.

Please, all my friends, take a moment and share this and pass along the request for more BAR members. Thanks in advance. https://www.facebook.com/SecondAmendmentBarAssociation?ref=ts&fref=ts

It appears to me some of the members here are lawyers, so I'm posting it here. Please like their page and I doubt it matters if you're a lawyer or not. If you are, you'll be with others and I'm certain you can hammer out arguments better than I ever could.

The ABA at it again. That doesn't much surprise me.
The 2nd Amendment Bar? There doesn't seem to be much there. Are they new and just starting?
I don't like facebook.

Thank you Armorer. I may have to 'do' Facebook some day but I appreciate being able to put it off a little longer.

Are they new and just starting?
Yes very new, but they/we are a needed alternaitive voice.
. . . and am very disappointed to see the position taken by the American Bar Association.
I've been practicing law for more than 25 years and the only reason I have found to be a member of the ABA is so that I could resign in protest the next time they took a misguided position on an issue that is none of their business -- and that never seemed like a good enough reason to join.

For those of you going to: http://secondamendmentbarassociation.org/, also be aware that the "Register" button on the main page (apparently) just registers you for the site and not the forums. I registered and have been approved, but I cannot get into the forums. It looks like to register for the forums, you need to hit "forums," go to that page, and then register.

If anyone knows this to be incorrect, let me know and I'll edit or delete this post.
