Laws regarding automatic knives

I just realized i've been carrying a microtech halo 3 for about a year now and haven't even considered the possible legal issues with it being it's an OTF automatic knife. Does anyone know the laws regarding auto knives in NH? Any help would be appreciated. I guess being that i'm allowed to conceal a handgun, carrying a knife that has a spring didn't really concern me.

You gotta check your state laws. I know in Texas any knife that is spring loaded that has the open button on the handle is illegal. The ones like the Kershaw's that you open using the blade are legal though.

Here's the law in New Hampshire:

TITLE XII
PUBLIC SAFETY AND WELFARE
CHAPTER 159
PISTOLS AND REVOLVERS
Section 159:16
159:16 Carrying or Selling Weapons
. – Whoever, except as provided by the laws of this state, sells, has in his possession with intent to sell, or carries on his person any stiletto, switch knife, blackjack, dagger, dirk-knife, slung shot or metallic knuckles shall be guilty of a misdemeanor; and such weapon or articles so carried by him shall be confiscated to the use of the state.
