Just wondering, how is LawDog doing and is the healing process well underway? If I missed the post, forgive me.

Tatters, thank you for your concern.

My head is healing, I had plastic surgery sometime ago, and the stitches were removed yesterday.

Turns out that my left shoulder is fractured, as well as having the rotator cuff blown. Going to cut down on my range time for a bit, but the doc thinks I should have at least a 85-90% recovery.

Good enough for me. ;)

Thanks again,

LawDog

Keep workin' hard LawDog. I had a colleague out for 2 years due to a car wreck. He came back from it. It was indeed a great day when he returned.

PS.

My brother was heading for Wichita Falls yesterday morning, and asked if I needed anything.

I asked him if he'd pick me up a couple of magazines. (The new Shooting Times should be out.)

When he got back, he tossed a couple of Browning Hi-Power magazines in my lap, and said that they were the last full size he could find in Wichita...

Sigh. Do any of y'all ever worry about your family members?

I'll tell ya what, Lawdog, I'll trade you, even up, the latest SHOOTING TIMES and GUNWORLD and GUNS & AMMO for the Browning mags. I'll even pay for shipping. :D

I'm sure glad you coming along as well as you are. Heal, boy. LOL

Thanks for the update, LawDog. I've been praying for you and wanted to ask how you were doing, but was afraid I'd missed an update post. Sounds like you have a nice brother! :) -- Denise

Glad you're doing well LawDog. The lost range time would hurt me more than the injuries itself!! Take care of yourself and tell your brother I could use some Armalite and Beretta Mags! :D :D :D :D :D :D

LawDog,

Glad to read that you're on the mend.
And congrats on your mags.

It is and always will be the first thing in my life.

All the best...

LawDog - Thanks for the update!

Fractures can heal well on their own, but please exercise care with the rotator cuff.
I hope you don't need additional surgery for it - bones (and skin) mend on their own, but ligaments and tendons do not.

Rest up and heal well.

Cliff

LawDog, glad to hear you're making progress. Congratulations. Hope you were still able to appreciate the nurses. ;)

Regards from AZ

Hey get well there, buddy.

LawDog,

Glad to hear that you are healing well. We're praying for you, friend.

Well, buddy, after spending last week in the hospital and almost needing a blood transfusion, I can relate. Glad to hear you're doing well. I'm sorry I got the news so late. In February I was working too much.
