How do you like that MDT LSS Chasis?

I am currently looking at their LSS-XL chasis for a 6.5 CM build I just started.

I love it. I wasn't sure at first but I got it used at a really great price. Whole rifle loaded only weighs 11.6 pounds. It shoulders well and is easy to fire prone sitting or standing. A few guys I shoot with are also thinking of a build using the Lss chassis. Good luck on your build and post some pics when your done. I would love to see it

Thanks for the feedback.

I will certainly post pics, but it will be a while. I just ordered the barrel last week, and there is a 2-3 month lead time on it.

And the LSS-XL chassis is not yet made for my action. They say they are shooting for a fall 2015 release for it. I am hoping to have it finished for next spring's shooting season.

All I have in hand so far is the action and trigger, with the barrel on order. Still need the chassis, buttstock, and glass, along with other small parts like buffer tube, pistol grip, bipod, base, rings, etc.

The optic will most likely be the Vortex Viper PST 6-24X50 FFP.

The max range at my club is 600 yards, so the majority of my shooting is limited to that. There are a couple of 1,000 ranges somewhat nearby that I make it to 3-4 times a year as well.

It is being built off of a Savage Axis action.

The vortex is a nice optic. Look for a 20moa base for that action. I see your in Cleveland Ohio?? Thunder valley is a nice thousand yard range. It's a few hours south of you and 2hours north of me. Great place to shoot though. The 20 MOA base will allow you enough adjustment in the optic to reach 1000!!

I will post other picks this weekend. I tried to blow them up but the picture becomes fuzzy. Good thing I shoot the rifle better than I do the camera!
