Late to the 9 mm M&P: Love it

I just got an M&P from a trade. I've always been a Glock and Sig Sauer person. The trigger feels great. The grip feels very natural.

I had no issues with strong hand or weak handed shooting. Worked well through 100 rounds. Had no issues feeding or ejecting.

I know I'm late to the game, and the 2.0 is out. But I'm not an early adopter of guns.

I'm glad you like it. I bought one and was disappointed just like the previous poster.

Oddly enough I'm pretty sure I'm going to give the m&p another chance with the 2.0. Maybe even this week.

Good choice! I've liked the M&P line since my first one several years ago. They just feel right in the hand to me and I've never had any issues with the triggers. I also have never had any accuracy problems no matter what caliber or gun size.

I'm looking forward to getting my hands on a M2.0 soon.

Other than CZ the M&P's have the best feeling grip for me. I almost picked up a 2.0 last weekend in the 5" flavor, but doubt crept into my mind as I envisioned the new CZ in my hand.

I may still pick up a 2.0 in 45 since I sold a 45 to fund last weeks purchase before I backed out at the last minute.

On another note, I loved my M&P 9c, and really like the pros my friends have. Not to mention my Shield is beloved.

Fits my hand better than most other double stacks. I guess I like them, I have 2 in 40S&W and one in 9mm. If something else fit my hand better, I'd be shooting it.

Glad you like it. They really are good guns.

Yeah. To me, it feels very natural in my hand because it's slim and more oval. I traded my S&W 442 since I carry a 640 357 Magnum more often.

The ergonomics are pretty good.

I'm not interested in the first generation, but the M&P 2.0 holds my interest.

I'm going to have to see how things shake out with the new model.
