Why was my post locked with a smart a$$ remark?

I ask a serious gun question and I'm told to try a history forum???

I just read Oleg's reply. It didn't sound smart ass to me. Maybe whiskey does need a beer.

I met Whiskey several weeks ago to complete a gun trade. He seems like a real nice guy. I will hate to see him go. I had a thread locked a short while ago for no valid reason but I took the problem to the Administrator via Email. I suggest you do that Whiskey. Stay with us as I enjoy your knowledge. By the way the gun Whiskey traded was everything he had stated and more. I respect a man that tells the truth in his dealings. Also by the way there is no history forum listed here!

Sorry I should have added a link to "Harley Holden's Institute for Firearms Research sub-forum" instead of calling it "history forum" (which is how I think of it but other people might differ). I apologize and assure you that I did not intend it as a personal insult to you. I am far too aware of your prowess with those two sixguns of yours to put my life on the line for the pleasure of a smartass remark.

Hey, I've complained about being locked and moved before but I see the light every time(although it may take a day or two). I go off the deep end sometimes but Oleg has always been cool to me. Keep up the good work TFL. -ddt
 
I am sorry for my hot headed response. I took Oleg's response the wrong way. I guess I was having a bad day. Anyway I am sorry for the confusion and my immature response.

I do enjoy this site and have learned my things here.
 
Whisky, you have said it. Stay around, the forum is where you can find from laymen to General in all branch of service and all walks of life. As the other said fight back. In a fraternity or in any Endeavor "Quiters" are lossers.

See! my english is very poor and always look upon but still I am writing some topics. Your enemy today will be your friends tomorrow and vice versa.
