Didn't cast anything this weekend, but a bunch of bricks that say "SAECO" on the top of em. I was watching softball most of the weekend.
But I did get out and smelt about 60# of wheel weights and another 60# of yellow isotope cores.
Now I'm ready for a good casting day! :)

Wow, good on you! Now that display shelf for all them boolits is going to get heavy. Better reinforce it before you get started casting Beagle333.

True.:o I am so fortunate that my Father-in-law is actually a cabinet maker! He specializes in trophy cases and such for churches, schools, and the like. :):p

(and I get all the free sawdust for fluxing that a person could want.)

Where do you find isotope cores? And why in the heck don't they get reused? I guess shipping them back is costlier than pouring new ones? Either way I would love to find a cheap supplier

Cheaper to get new containers than clean em for reuse .

Sadly the isotope companies around me have to turn in the cores to match their "hazardous material list " weight
